Arnold "Jockey" Garner

Arnold “Jockey” Garner Departed his life, Dec. 9, 2021 after  battling several years of illness.

He was employed with Eveready Battery Company of Asheboro, NC. For 37 years until retirement.

Jockey leaves his memories to his wife, Ella Ree Garner of the home;  three daughters, Teresa Harvey of Burlington, NC, Tonya Lee(Reid) of Burlington, NC, and Margo Daye of Burlington, NC; two sons, Donta Addington of the home and Scotty Addington (Lisa) of Sanford, NC; three sisters, Faye Steward (Rev. George) of Snow Camp, NC, Stella Fields of Whitsett, NC, and Portia Garner of Graham, NC; 10 grandchildren:Cameron Herbin, Tajari Vellock, Doquan Lee, Jaston Addington, Jasmine Addington, Jacod Addington,Ashley Addington, Josh Addington, Sierra Addington, JaLicia Addington, Erick Addington,Khavarie Hightower, and Braylin Daye ; 4 great-grandchildren; Christina Bowan of Snow Camp who he called a Special daughter; a host of other relatives and friends.
