Arthur Lee Wall

Arthur Lee Wall departed from this life on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. He was born to Ruby Jane Walls in Greensboro, NC, on May 14, 1956.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Wall, and his mother, Ruby Jimerson Walls.

Arthur graduated from Southern Guilford High School, where he enjoyed playing baseball. Arthur met, Nancy when she was a teen and married her in February of 1980. Arthur worked for over 27 years at Cone Mills.

Everyone who knew Arthur knew he enjoyed watching NASCAR races and westerns, doing anything, outdoors, and the Minnesota Vikings. He often celebrated life with fireworks! Fourth of July was one of his favorite holidays. He could often be found enjoying the fireworks with a nice cold Bud! Arthur was a

jokester and often told anyone who would listen that he was the ‘Head Rooster.’  He frequently told others, ‘He was tough like leather and well put together!’ He loved his family and was extremely proud of them all!

Arthur leaves to celebrate his life four children, Terrence Shoffner, LaWanna Gaither (Pastor Brian), Ashley Wall and Jordan Wall. His three grandchildren Isaiah Shoffner, Nigel Gaither, and Brianna Gaither; a host of siblings and in-laws, Clarence Goins (Linda), Keith Jimerson, Phyllis Davis (Jimmy), James Jimerson, Leroy Weddington (Mary), Elaine Chapman (DeShawn), Lymon Brown, Shelly Bass (Josephine); and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family. His legacy of kindness to all will continue through them all.
