Carl Reginald Brown “Reggie” son of the late Carl Lee Brown Sr and the late Sara Diane Eubanks was born June 9, 1968, in Asheboro, North Carolina.
Reggie attended Eastern Randolph High School where he was a member of the track and field team. Apart from high school athletics, he loved watching and discussing basketball, football, and wrestling. Ironically two of his favorite things to talk about in sports were rivals. He was a diehard Michael Jordan fan and a devoted Duke Blue Devils fan.
Although he had no children of his own, he enjoyed and took special care of his nieces and nephews.
Reggie was preceded in death by his parents, his paternal grandparents, Sarah Brown and Carl Coltrane, his maternal grandparents, Jasper, and Sarah Andrews, two sisters, Karen Denise Brown and Roncka Jackson.
He leaves to cherish his memory five brothers: David Brown (Katina) of Greensboro, Carl Eugene Curry of Philadelphia, Roland “Deon” Eubanks of Ruffin, Carl Lee Brown of Durham, Ceddrick Leemon Brown (Tionna) of Durham; six sisters: Angela Eubanks (Robert) of Greensboro, Thejuanita Brown Bryant (William) of Spring Lakes, Towanna Jackson of Durham, Shauntil Gray(Vander) of Durham, Karen Brown of Durham and Jasmine Brown of Durham; his stepmother, the Reverend Deborah Brown of Durham. He also leaves behind four uncles, four aunts, twenty-three nieces and nephews: a host of other relatives and friends.
A special thank you to Robert “Sonny” Andrews Sr and Henry and Brenda Matthews for the special care and up bring after the death of his parents.
