Charles Wayne Stanley

Charles Wayne Stanley was born January 10, 1949, in Randolph County, North Carolina to Elmer and Dorothy Pierce Stanley. He passed from this earthly life into the arms of Jesus surrounded by family on Monday, January 23, 2023.

Charles was a United Stated Army veteran.  Charles worked at Liberty Chair Company in Liberty, NC until it closed.  He also worked at Carolina Furniture in Ramseur and Gregson Furniture in Liberty.  He loved cars. He Worked on cars and would often go to the car shows in Charlotte every year with his brother David.

Charles Wayne Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Dorothy Stanley; one daughter, Jeannie Fay Stanley Jernigan and a granddaughter, Sabrina Leigh Jernigan.

 He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley J. Stanley of the home; one daughter, Margaret Bass (Charles “Sam”) of Staley; three grandchildren: Cody Stanley of the home, Brandon Martinez of the home, and Shannon Bass of Staley; one great-granddaughter, Andrea Allmond of Staley; three brothers, David Stanley(Doris) of Liberty, Winfred ”Butch” Stanley of Liberty, and Johnny Stanley of Liberty; four sisters, Diane Stanley(Ricky) of Staley, Margaret Johnson of Staley, Brenda Stanley (Lanny) of Snow Camp, and Betty Ledbetter of Liberty; nieces, nephews, and friends.
