Gladys Marie Jordan McNeil

Mrs. Marie Jordan McNeil was born on October 28, 1938, to the late Clyde and Edna Foushee Jordan in Chatham County, North Carolina. She made her transition from his earthly life into eternal rest on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at Chatham Hospital.

Marie was born again and professed Christ as Savior January 1976 and have been a life member of Price Community Church of God of Prophecy name change to River of Life and was a faithful member until her health declined and prevented her from participating.   She received her education from Chatham High School in Siler City, North Carolina.

On December 23, 1953, Marie was united in Holy Matrimony to William McNeil and to this union four children were born.

 Marie enjoyed cooking, gardening, and loved attending church. Her passion was visiting and having fellowship with her neighbors and always looking for the opportunity to witness about Jesus Christ.

Marie was preceded in death by Her husband, William, her parents, Clyde and Edna Jordan; a son, Gary McNeil; a brother and six sisters.

She leaves to cherish her life and memory: two daughters, Deborah Staley (Eddie) of Siler City, NC, and Judy Headen of Siler City, NC; one son, William McNeil (Susan) of Conyers, GA; one brother, Mr. Robert Jordan of Siler City, NC; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
