James Hairston Jr

James Hairston Jr was born October 7, 1958, to James and Mattie Roach Hairston in Reidsville, North Carolina.

He departed this earthly life on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

James graduated from Reidsville Senior High School in 1977. He was a United States Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as a sister, Gertrude Harris; two brothers, William Roach and Robert Roach.

James leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 40 years, Mary Hairston; his children: April Spence (Tommie); Michael Aiken (Amy) and Misty Penn (Jacob); his stepmother, Sarah Hairston,  four sisters, Amy Hairston of Danville, VA, Elizabeth Stocks, Pearly Roach of Reidsville, NC, Jean Dejounett of Eden, NC; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
