Jennifer Ann Brown, age 46, of Greensboro, North Carolina passed away peacefully at Moses Cone Hospital on October 5, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends. She fought hard the past 5 years, but Jennifer was no victim to cancer, she lived in every moment knowing who holds tomorrow.
Jennifer is survived by a long list of people who loved her; the love of her life Frank Pritchard, her beloved children, son Dylan Brown (Heidi), daughter Courtany Brown, and the light of her life, her grandchildren Madison, Makayla, and Masen; parents Roger and Flora Brown; siblings, Gina Harris (William), Amy Rhoton (Dennis), Roger Lee Brown, Lisa Greene (Jimmy), Lori Owens; and many nieces and nephews who adored her.
Jennifer was born in Lexington, North Carolina on February 5, 1977, to Roger and Flora Brown. She attended Eastern Guilford High school. She loved being outdoors, anything that included the beach, the lake, camping, fishing, four-wheeling, it really didn’t matter as long as she had her family and friends with her. Jennifer’s proudest role was being called Nana by her 3 beautiful grandchildren. She spent every day making sure they felt all the love she had for them. Jennifer had a passion for animals and wildlife, so she enjoyed many trips to the zoo and wildlife preservations, and she was no stranger to a stray animal. Always taking in new fur babies to love on.
The family would like to extend our gratitude to Dr. Peter Ennever and his staff who took such amazing care of her and treated her more like a loved one than just a patient. In addition, we would also like to thank the wonderful nurses and staff at Moses Cone ICU who took such great care of her in her final days.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday October 14, 2023, at 11:00 at Church of Christ, 1511 W. Raleigh Street, Siler City, NC 27344.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any organization that supports the health and preservation of wildlife such as The North Carolina Zoo Society, Defenders of Wildlife or your local pet rescue program.
