John Henry McLamb Sr., beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on September 17, 1952, in Harrisburg, PA, John was the cherished son of Booker T. McLamb and Rosie Enoch. During the early part of his life, Herman and Sarah Mae Florence played a significant role in raising John. John was also a member of St. Thomas Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church and a faithful tither.
John's greatest joy in life was his family. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. John will be remembered for his infectious laughter, kindness, and unwavering support for those he held dear. His legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew him.
John leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. He is survived by his three children, Felicia Jarrell, Serita Jordan, and John McLamb Jr., who were the pride and joy of his life. He also leaves behind four adoring grandchildren: Macen Revels, Meagan Chalmers, Jaylen Jordan, and Shaniyah Jordan. John's love was not confined solely to his immediate household; it encompassed his sister, Joyce McLamb Rickard, and his nieces and nephews whom he held dear along with a host of other siblings, including Bernard Florence, Brenda Florence Coates (Robert), Deloris Florence Propst, and Sherwin Florence (Annie), Carolyn Holloman, Gladys Robinson, Harold Enoch Sr., and Kenneth Enoch, with whom he shared a bond of love and camaraderie.
