Michael "Corndog" Farrar

Michael Lawrence Farrar was born on December 26,1956 in Chatham County, North Carolina to Clinton Farrar who preceded him in death and Clementine Brooks Farrar.  He departed this earthly life on Friday, October 15,2021 at the age of 64¾ years.

In his early childhood, Michael attended Evans Chapel Church. As a youth, he along with his parents and brothers joined Olivers Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, Staley, North Carolina. He graduated with the class of 1974 from Jordan Matthews High School. He was a good Bus driver. He later went to an Electronic School in Atlanta, Georgia.

Michael is survived by his mother, Clementine Brooks Farrar (Mama Tennie) of the home; two sons, Michael Patterson of Durham and Steven Currie (Jessica) of Franklinville; one brother, Frankie Farrar of the home; four granddaughters and one grandson; a host of nieces and nephews.
