Jesse Glenn Cheek was born August 24, 1963, to Winfred Cheek and Teresa Goldston Cheek. He passed from this earthly life into the arms Jesus on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, after a brief illness.
Jesse graduated from Eastern Randolph High School. After graduation He joined the United States Navy. He had worked for Energize Battery Company in Asheboro for many years. He also worked for Kimes Funeral Service in Liberty for over 15 years. Jesse was a member and Minister of Mt. Nebo Holiness Church, Ramseur, NC, and he loved his church family. Jesse was an avid Duke and Cowboys fan; no one could convince him otherwise. He loved people and he never met a stranger; He had a contagious smile that would light up a room.
Jesse loved family and his many friends, one could often hear him talking about his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and his friends; but most of all He loved Jesus.
