Monica Willette (Williams) Peoples

Monica Willette Williams Peoples was born October 26, 1968 in Chatham County, North Carolina to the late Tlanzo Williams Jr. and Christine Williams. She departed this early life on Friday, December 23, 2022 in Mount Gilead, North Carolina.

Monica was preceded in death by her father Tlanzo Williams Jr. and her bother Tlanzo Williams III.

Monica graduated from Jordan Matthews High School in 1987. After graduating high school, she went on to marry her high school sweetheart, Timothy Peoples, and she gave birth to her three children, Shatoya, Michael, and Allison. Monica enjoyed spending her free time with family and friends. She also enjoyed spending her free time in fellowship with the Lord. Her favorite hobbies included cooking, decorating, reading, and gardening. One of her favorite sayings was, “Jesus bless and protect you.” She was a true woman of God and an inspiration to everyone around her. She immediately lit up every room she entered with her joyful presence. She loved her friends and family and filled her home with warmth and kindness. She will truly be missed here on Earth. God received a beautiful angel in Heaven.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Timothy Peoples and her children Shatoya Peoples, Michael Peoples, and Allison Peoples; her mother Christine Williams and her sisters Tamarra Bittle, Esther Williams, Michelle Burrell, Wanda Jones, Tomekia Holloway; and a host of nieces and nephews
