Phillip Brooks

 Phillip Lawrence Brooks, son of the late Margie Brooks(mother) and the late Ivory and Myrtle Brooks (grandparents) was born in Chatham Hospital on June 5, 1953. He departed this life suddenly due to health complications on March 26, 2023.

He was reared in Staley, North Carolina and a graduated of Eastern Randolph High School. He has worked at Townsend in Siler City, North Carolina, Collins and Aikman, Siler City, North Carolina, and JC Penny in Burlington, North Carolina.

 Phil married Debra Ellis in 2016. He was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He was a member of Olivers Chapel Church in Staley, North Carolina. He was a devoted Carolina Tarheels Fan. He also loved and played baseball.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Debra Ellis Brooks of the home;  daughters, Sylvia Baker (Michael) Henrico, VA and Priscilla Brooks, Siler City; stepchildren, Brad Johnson(Jamie) and Amy Dunn(Jason); grandchildren: Adriana, Jaiden, Elijah, Amani, Antonio, Alli, Wayatt, Remington, Ivorie, and Magnolia, sisters, Linda Watson (Johnny) and Clarice Brooks (Joshua) both of Siler City; aunt, Faye Frazier (Buddy); a host of, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
