Obituary
Tommy Lee Yancey Sr., son the late Mary “Lib Foust and Nathaniel “Cat” Torain was born May 17, 1954. He departed this earthly life on December 11, 2022, resting peacefully.
Tommy was raised in Alamance County and graduated from Southern Alamance. He worked at Technimark for many years and was a diehard, Carolina Tar Heels fan.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Ms. Mary Elizabeth Foust and Mr. Nathaniel Torain.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his sons, Tommy Yancey Jr of Liberty, NC, Charles Willis (Angelette) of Archdale, NC; his daughters, Catherine Norwood (Clyde) Pleasant Garden, NC, Kimberly Foust of Burlington, NC; his grandchildren: Jessica, Tyrell, Special, Malik, Marqaylen, and Jakaylen; a special friend, Mary Russell; god-sister, Louise White (Grover). He also had many great friends and family that will miss him dearly.
