Wayne Lee Glover was born July 9, 1947, in Chatham County, North Carolina to Thomas Hugh and Inez Dark Glover. He was the last and youngest Child. He departed this earthly life on November 1, 2021.
Wayne joined Rocky River Baptist Church at an early age. You could hear Wayne sitting around telling the family unbelievable stories; but they were true stories. He was employed by Beamon Corporation in Liberty, North Carolina also he worked at Borden Brick in Pleasant Garden, North Carolina as a forklift operator.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Hugh Glover, three siblings, Thomas Glover, Faye Cheek, James Glover, and a son Darien Black.
He leaves Cherish memories to, his mother, Inez Glover; his children: Dora Glover Carter of Statesville, Justina White (David) of Liberty, Wanda Peoples of Greensboro, James Swaringer (Wanda) of Virginia, Wayne Swaringer of Charlotte and Wayne Glover, Jr. of Greensboro; two foster children, Keith Mason and Kenneth Mason of Staley;19 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
